The members of the Bucks-Mont OHA participate in many of the activities that are available in today’s dog world.

• Conformation showing and related activities
• Agility
• Rally-O
• Obedience
• Herding                           
• Therapy Dog visitation
• Breeding

Membership Requirements:

• Attend two meetings or functions (at least one general meeting)
• Sponsorship by an active member of the club
• Be in good standing with the AKC
• Completed application with check for first year’s dues
• Application reviewed by the Board
• Voted in by the general membership

 Meetings are held monthly from September through June, usually on the first Tuesday evening of every month at 7:30PM at the Bux-Mont Unitarian Church in Warrington, PA. Anyone interested in the sport of pure-bred dogs is welcome to attend.

The March 4^th meeting was followed by a program on Reiki for dogs, presented by Kay Sivel.

The April 1^st meeting will be a presentation by Sharon Sakson, author of “The Healing Power of Dogs”    FMI see "Events"

The traditional annual pot-luck picnic will be held on Friday, June 6 at 7PM at the home of Audrey and Jim Williams. More details to follow.

The highlight of the year is our holiday party and awards ceremony at the home of Jill and Mark Farrington, held on an evening during the last week of December.

Conformation Handling Classes

The Bucks-Mont OHA also sponsors conformation handling classes at The Quakertown Veterinary Clinic at 7:30PM on Thursday evenings  with experienced instructor and professional handler, Ann Sullivan.
